The Local Policy Lab (LPL) Network connects cities that are dedicated to protecting and strengthening democracy,, advancing resilient and sustainable communities, and improving civic engagement . The Network – which is open to any local government that supports these goals – includes a diverse array of cities from across the country. 

There is no cost to join the LPL Network.

Benefits to Membership  in the LPL Network include:

• Invitations to attend our monthly Democracy Conversations with city officials from across the country;

• Access to an internal website with specific resources to promote democratic and civic participation;

• Specialized monthly newsletters with innovation resources, city spotlights, and innovation tools;

• Individualized access to Local Policy Lab staff on issue support and technical assistance; and

• Peer support and information sharing through a listserv and communications network with other cities.
